Last updated: 15 July 2026
This notice explains how Diya iT Solutions (Pty) Ltd(“Diya”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Information we collect
We only collect what you give us and what we need to respond to you. When you submit the contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your company name (optional)
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- The service area you need help with (optional)
- The content of your message
To protect the form from abuse, our server briefly records the IP address of submissions for rate-limiting. See Cookies and analytics below for how we measure site usage.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) to count visits and monitor performance. These do not set cookies, do not track you across other websites, and do not identify you personally — so they run without asking for consent.
If we run advertising or more detailed analytics (for example Google Analytics or Google Ads), those tools set cookies. We only load them after you accept on the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. If you decline, no such cookies are set.
Why we use it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, provide the services you ask about, and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) and delivered to us by email (via Resend and Microsoft Exchange Online). These providers process the data on our behalf under their own security and data-protection commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Object to our processing of it
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@diyaitsolutions.co.za.
Information Officer
Our appointed Information Officer is Nadia Mahomed. Please direct POPIA queries to info@diyaitsolutions.co.za.
